Eero Saarinen Retro Panton Style Tulip Table & Chairs (Dining) 5 pieces set.
Eero Saarinen coincidently shared the same birthday as his father Eliel Saarinen, with whose family he emigrated to the United States of America when he was thirteen years old, in 1923.
Eero Saarinen developed the Tulip armchair in the 1940s as part of his research of "organic furniture." MOMA announced a competition for "organic design in home furnishing collection" in which Eero Saarinen participated along with Charles Eames, and designed the now famous Tulip Chair. The Tulip Chair and the corresponding pedestal table and other furniture he developed.
The Tulip Chair from his collection is a reflection of this ability in this timeless classic.
